Did you know that 47% of U.S. consumers turn to Youtube to help them research purchases? That’s why many retailers are turning to product ads within Youtube videos. TrueView for shopping lets advertisers showcase product details and images within video ads, in turn allowing customers to click and purchase from a brand or retail site. Google recently announced improvements to TrueView which include new features such as:
- Companion banner – Interactive banner that appears next to the video. Customers can scroll through products while the video is playing.
- Product picker – Advertisers can prioritize which products appear within the TrueView, making it easier to choose products for specific campaigns.
